The first Minion Ally, Joel plays to the support area like any normal ally, is no longer roaming quite
quickly, like the other Nazgul characters, and remains in play from turn to turn. Perhaps his most
unusual ability is to resurrect dead companions and use them against the Fellowship as minions. The
companions still maintain their normal game text, however. Things like Defender +1 are ignored
on minions, however, anything that makes sense should be used. Legolas, Son of Thranduil may be a poor
choice to pull, as he adds to the Fellowship archery total at certain sites, but that might be worth it
for the extra archer on your side as well... And, of course, Gimli is Damage +1 as always. This ability could come
in handy for the Nazgul, who often have trouble playing more than one character at a time. The
ability to pull extra characters for 2 Shadow can be very useful.
Kudos to Quan for the idea of using dead characters against someone.
